When the meter triggers Free Spins, the feature stake is based on the weighted average of the stakes used to collect those Books. The game may round a non-standard average to an available bet step.
The stake rule
A weighted average, not the latest stake.
Each collected Book carries the stake used when it landed. When the meter reaches 99, the game totals those stake-weighted entries and divides by 99. If the result does not match an available bet step, the rules describe stochastic rounding to a neighbouring valid step.
Carry, reset, order
Three edge cases worth knowing
- After the collection feature is awarded, the count resets.
- If a spin pushes the total beyond 99, excess Books carry into the new count.
- If that same spin also lands three or more Books, the direct trigger plays before the collection trigger.

Does changing stake improve the meter?
No stake pattern changes the random chance of a Book landing. Changing stake changes only the weighted average attached to collected Books and the amount put at risk on future spins.
